On launch day it was usually custom for a child of one of John Harker's employees to present flowers to the ladies
and this photograph shows a young Valerie Taylor (now Valerie Banner) performing that duty during the launch of 'Northdale H'. Valerie's father Larry Taylor was an employee of John Harker.
Mrs Foster, the wife of Mr A. J. Foster, manager of Supplies and Transportation at Shell-Mex & BP Ltd, launched the vessel.
