Registered at Hull number 42 on 28th September 1966. A steel cargo barge with a six cylinder Gardner engine built by Harker's in 1966 for Flixborough Shipping Company Ltd. Measurements 109.50ft x 17.55ft x 7.5ft. Re-registered number 70 on 23rd November 1971 after being lengthened, gross tonnage 170.23, register 127.10.

LAUNCHING AT KNOTTINGLEY
At 11am today at the shiopyard of John Harker Ltd, Knottingley, Mrs Wilson, wife of Mr. B.J.Wilson, the Technical Manager of the Company, was to launch the cargo barge 'BONBY' for the Flixborough Shipping Company Ltd. The vessel whose length is over 113 feet and which has a carrying capacity of 260 tons, will be the 277th vessel to be launched from Messrs Harker's shipyard, and the fifth to be built at Knottingley for the Flixborough Shipping Company.
