Registered at Hull number 4 on 7th February 1966. A steel general cargo barge with a six-cylinder Gardner engine, built by Harker's in 1966 for John Hunt & Son (Leeds) Ltd. Measurements 109.7ft x 17.55ft x 7.85ft.

LAUNCH AT KNOTTINGLEY
The cargo barge 'DORIS HUNT' was launched at the shipyard of John Harker Ltd., Knottingley, by Mrs R.H.Hunt. The vessel which is being built for John Hunt and Sons (Leeds) Ltd., is 113ft 6ins and has a carrying capacity of 260 tons. It is the seventh cargo barge built for the firm at Knottingley.
