THE BIGGEST EVER LAUNCHED AT KNOTTINGLEY
The largest vessel ever to be built in the history of the shipyard of John Harker Ltd., was launched on Tuesday. 'GROVEDALE H' which is 150 feet long and 11ft 3ins depth, has a carrying capacity of 600 tons. The launching ceremony was performed by Mrs Moore, wife of John Moore, head of ship management department Shell MEx and BP Ltd.
It is the 99th tanker built at Knottingley by John Harker Ltd.
