APPRECIATION
People who have contributed to the book-drive held in Knottingley some time ago will be interested to know that Mrs. B. Aaron, Sunny Bank, Knottingley has received an airgraph from Dvr, R.T. Seal, in the M.E.F, in which he says;

"Many thanks for the book of yours which I am reading, the title of which is 'The Face Of Clay'. It is very good of you people to give these books and I hope others besides yours truly writes and thank the senders. We get very 'Browned Off' and a book whiles away the time at night when we have nothing else to do. There are five of us on this outpost and you may guess how we get at times. I am a Yorkshire man who has been out here since December 1943 and longing for home. Here's wishing you and yours all the best."
