PERSONAL MEMORIES and RECOLLECTIONS of PONTEFRACT
During publication of the Pontefract edition of 'The Digest' between 2005 and 2007, we received a wonderful collection of personal memories of Pontefract from readers of the magazine. Given that our Pontefract website is now no longer available I thought it would be appropriate to include them here so that they, and the people behind them, are not forgotten.
All the following articles were originally submitted directly to me for publication either in The Digest magazine or on the no-longer available 'pontefractus' website.
